Report: Daniel Cormier out of UFC 197 battle with Jon Jones Originally reported by, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier is wounded and will probably be forced to pull from his forthcoming UFC 197 main event name defense against Jon Jones. There’s not any word on when the advertising will just delay the title defense or whether Jones will combat with a late replacement like Anthony Johnson since Cormier’s injury’s seriousness hasn’t yet been revealed. The Northern Irishman has the skills and talent and is still only 29 years old.
